Take Some Pills For Your Hysteria (2018)

This is a nonlinear, ongoing project.

What is it like to be diagnosed as a ”crazy” woman in these times? I started a documentation project about dissociative identity disorder. It’s about shame, pain, isolation, power structures, arbitrariness in health care, hurtful representations of mental health in popular culture, difficulty of talking about mental health issues, history of hysteria and disconnection to others and yourself.
